📍 Location: Central Coast, NSW (shifts available from Gwandalan to Avoca)
⏰ Availability: Minimum 15 hours per week

Are you passionate about empowering individuals and creating a positive impact? At ShineBright Care, we’re seeking enthusiastic Disability Support Workers to join our dynamic team.

💼 What You’ll Be Doing:
•Provide reliable, punctual, and high-quality support.
•Assist with personal care and manual handling tasks.
•Facilitate community access and support social group activities.
•Safely transport participants to and from activities.
•Follow Behaviour Support Plans to ensure tailored care.
•Maintain accurate support progress notes and incident reports.

✔️ What We’re Looking For:
•Valid WWCC, Police Check, and NDIS Worker Screening.
•Manual Handling Certificate.
•Current First Aid and CPR certifications.
•Medication Training.
•A reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s licence.
•Excellent communication skills.
•Certification in disability or related fields.
•Familiarity with active, person-centred support approaches.
•Understanding a variety of disabilities.
•An understanding of non-verbal communication.
•Understanding repetitive behaviours, and PICA.
•Flexibility with work hours, including availability for at least 2 non-active overnight shifts weekly.
•A commitment to ShineBright Care’s values: honesty, dedication, respect, and accountability.

✨ Bonus Points For:
•Experience with a variety of disabilities and age groups.
•Background in related fields such as early childhood education, teaching, or allied health.
•Manual handling experience.
