Day Program
What is ShineBright Care’s Sensory HQ?
ShineBright Care has opened a Sensory HQ in Tuggerah. This space is designed as a Day Program for people over 18 who have complex sensory needs, with a NDIS plan, from 9.00am – 3.00pm.
Why is SBC different?
ShineBright Care is committed to person-centred active support. Because of this, our HQ is a boutique environment where we cap the maximum number of Participants a day.
How do you run a “Day Program” for Participants with complex sensory needs?
Participants have a individualised program written, which is suited to them and their goals.
How do we see the HQ?
Participants and their families are welcome to see the space, you just need to book a time that suits you and our current bookings. We are flexible to ensure this is convenient for you.

Community Access Activities
ShineBright Care offers our particiants to access community activities of interest in an individualized or group setting. These activities are tailored to the participant choice and social development is encouraged behind our support.
Daily Living Activities
Shine Bright Care offers our participants with activities within the home to assist with maintaining and building independence. This can include activities such as personal care tasks, meal planning and preparation, organizing and assisting with appointments, domestic support and assistance and other tasks related to the participants goals.
ShineBright Care offers our particiants to access community activities of interest in an individualized or group setting. These activities are tailored to the participant choice and social development is encouraged behind our support.
Short Term Accomodation
ShineBright Care offers a tranquile home away from home Short Term Accommodation (also known as Respite). Our home is nestled in the beautiful area of Gwandalan, NSW overlooking Lake Macquarie. This home holds a special place in ShineBright Care’s heart and offers a peaceful setting where participants and carers can receive that well needed break.
Social Activities Program
ShineBright Care offers social programs to children ages 5-17 years of age that are educational, engaging, and related to capacity building goals. Our activities are term based and seasonal. Our activities are designed by our Client Services Manager and Social Activities Coordinator where early childhood and school age development is at the forefront of planning and development.
Support Coordination
ShineBright Care offers Support Coordination to participants and/or Carers whom requires assistances with navigating the NDIS process. This process can be complex and confusing and our expertise of the NDIS process allows us to provide a quality of service to those whom has Support Coordination and/or requiring a bit of extra support understanding their plan.
Specialised Substitute Residential Care (SSRC)
ShineBright Care has approval from the Office of Children’s Guardian (OCG) to provide out-of-home care under Specialised Substitute Residential Care (SSRC) after completing the registration process accrediting their policies and procedures inline with the OCG’s guidelines to provide STA though SSRC.
We are currently taking bookings for our Central Coast respite home located in Gwandalan!
This respite is for children and young persons under the age of 18.
