Short Term Accomodation
ShineBright Care is delighted to offer two peaceful, home-away-from-home Short Term Accommodation (STA) options, also known as Respite. Our homes are located in the picturesque areas of Gwandalan and Kanwal, NSW. The Gwandalan home boasts stunning views of Lake Macquarie, while our Kanwal home enjoys the welcoming, accessible community of the Central Coast.
Both homes are deeply valued by ShineBright Care, providing calm and supportive spaces where children, young people, and adults with disabilities can enjoy a well-earned break while working towards their NDIS goals. For carers, it offers a vital opportunity to recharge, knowing their loved ones are in caring and capable hands.
If respite and STA is included in your child, young person, or adult’s NDIS plan, they are eligible to access our services. Whether you choose Gwandalan or Kanwal, our respite homes are designed to provide both participants and their families with rest, rejuvenation, and the meaningful support they deserve.

Specialised Substitute Residential Care (SSRC)

Our registration process ensures that all our policies and procedures align with the OCG’s guidelines, allowing us to deliver high-quality Short-Term Accommodation (STA) through SSRC.
We are now taking bookings for our welcoming respite homes, located on the Central Coast!
This service is designed specifically for children and young people under 18 who require respite care and support to achieve their NDIS goals in a safe and nurturing environment.
